They’re not optimistic
I admire our military and therefore feel quite puffed up when I get information from a member of our armed forces. In this case, I got a heads-up about a batch of documents the Coalition forces found in Iraq and that the military is now releasing to the general public. I was a bit slow looking at the information, though, and the Captain got there ahead of me — and thank Goodness he did, because his analysis is so good. Rather than either regurgitating what the Captain has to say, or trying my own inept analysis, let me just invite you to his post from yesterday. He makes it plain that the MSM would do well to read these documents because, rather than showing the Islamofascist killers riding high in the catbird seat, it appears that they're quite demoralized — and they did this despite the good press they're getting here in the West.
