Here I am, supporting a Democrat
A little mini scandal brewing in Tennessee is that Harold Ford Jr., a Democrat who hopes to become a U.S. Senator, called himself a lawyer even though he didn’t pass the bar. Folks — he went to law school and graduated. He is a lawyer. He’s simple not a licensed lawyer, so he can’t practice. This is not a scandal. This is silliness and should immediately be disregarded.
Having said that, if you’re in Tennessee, I still urge you not to vote for Mr. Ford, simply because I think the war against Islamic jihad is sufficiently important that we should do whatever we can to preserve a Republican majority. Republicans may be venal, hyper-sexualized, weak, spendthrift morons, but they’re the only ones who have even marginally figured out that we truly are in danger both from without (as in another direct, 9/11 style attack) or from within (as in the Dhimmitude we’re seeing all over Europe).
