More on the President and the military
We’ve had presidents who were not in the military, but nevertheless deeply respected it. I don’t know that we’ve ever before had a president who just isn’t into the military and who may even dislike it intensely. I commented on that in connection with Obama’s inability to understand the warrior mindset. We’ve also seen his ignorance (i.e., “corpse” men). Today, we get a glimpse of what really amounts to total disinterest — he can’t even be bothered to get his facts right. Keep in mind that Obama actually met, face to face, the person he was trying (and failed) to refer to — and clearly forgot this hero as soon as he left the room.
What a pathetic Commander in Chief. Our troops deserve so much better.
